Statement of Faith
The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
God
Our God is one, but manifested in three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God, the Word made flesh, who died for our sins and rose again for our justification (John 1:1, 14; Romans 4:25).
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Guide, and the one who empowers us for service (John 14:16; Acts 1:8).
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:9-10).
Healing
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith (James 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24).
Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit for the edification of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12; 1 Corinthians 14).
